Student Care

Before and After School Care is available within Calgary Arts Academy. Hours of operation are tailored to those of our host school. Parent input is welcome, and encouraged, toward developing and delivering a quality Out-of-School Care program which will both meet your needs and attain to your high expectations for excellence.

Calgary Arts Academy Student Care was launched in concert with the birth of the Calgary Arts Academy. The Student Care program is licensed by Alberta Children’s Services Region 3 as well as approved and monitored by the City of Calgary Community & Child Care Standards. Out-of-School Care subsidy is available for qualified families. Program Operator Jo-Anne McKenzie, with eighteen years experience in school-age care, is looking forward to working with the families of Calgary Arts Academy.

The Out-of-School Care program operates before and after school on all regular school days as well as from 7:00 AM through 6:00 PM on non-school weekdays such as Professional Development Days, Parent Teacher Conference Days, Christmas Break, Teachers’ Convention and Spring Break. A Summer Fun Day Camp will be available based on interest.
